$100 $50
Our consulting visit is normally $100. We take 50% off to come diagnose, so you pay $50.
- Covers the drive, gas and time to get to you (about 30 minutes each way, within 20 miles of Davenport)
- Includes your first hour with us on site
- We find the cause and explain it in plain English
- You get a short written summary
Additional time
$100 per hour after the first hour
Or $50 per half hour. We always tell you what the fix involves and what it will cost before we start.
- Setup, optimizing, mounting, lessons: same hourly rate
- Parts and products are separate; we'll tell you what's needed and you buy it
- Outside our 20-mile area? Ask us, we may still be able to help
Cancel or reschedule
Life happens, and we understand. You can cancel or reschedule any time more than 24 hours before your appointment.
Within 24 hours of the appointment, we can't cancel or reschedule, because that time is held for you and we've already planned the trip. The $50 diagnosis visit fee is non-refundable. You'll be asked to confirm this when you send your request.

Need A/C, electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, pest or lawn care? We connect you with a local pro for free. They quote you their own price.

A quick question? Call or text. If it turns into a longer session, we will tell you before it starts.
How referrals work: some of the pros we connect you with pay us a referral fee. You pay the pro directly for their work, they set their own price, and you are never required to use a pro we suggest.
Not included
- Work that requires a licensed trade (electrical, plumbing, A/C, roofing and similar). Those go to local pros.
- Car repairs. We help you understand the problem, then connect you with a mobile mechanic.
- Guaranteed Wi-Fi speeds or signal strength, which depend on your provider, your building and your devices.
